What does it mean when . . . . . .?

. . . .you are in a happy marriage and you have dreams of having sex with someone else?

It really bothers me that I often dream having sex with my X husband who I despise and didn't like having sex with when we were married. WTH can this mean?

Update:

Before you guys bombard me with your answers; I didn't like having sex with him cause he use to cause me pain and was selfish.

Update 2:

Miss honesty, no thumbs down from me

It means your brain likes to have naughty, harmless, fun while your body is resting. I hope you are not thinking it is a bad thing. Last night my brain dreamed about jumping up and down in one of those childrens inflatable bouncy-castles for hours. Frankly, I rather have had a sex-with-an-ex dream.

Don't worry about it its the more you think about not having them the more you'll have them this is really common and maybe the first night it happened something triggered memories of when you used to be together like a smell or song and now that's its bothering you you dream about it more if i was you id just try and forget about the dreams they really aren't anything to do with your feelings towards your ex and move on

    Hope that helped

having dreams about sex with an ex or even you being with your ex is your subconscious noticing that you are experiencing something bad in your relationship and it is reminding you of your previous relationship. whether it be he isnt paying enough attention to you or he works too much or anything. often its your subconscious way of reminding you not to allow the same mistakes to happen. you may be in a happy marriage but there is always something that isnt quite perfect and whatever it may be is bothering you. good luck

and i noticed i got a thumb down. i hope thats not from you. because im answering your question correctly.

Dreams are very rarely literal - usually they are symbolic and they're your brain clearing away the "clutter" of the day and filing it.

My advice? Don't worry about it. It may mean that you're stressed in other parts of your life and your ex-husband is the symbol that your brain uses to represent that stress.

    your not satisfied?

it may just be because that may be the only other sex partner youve had

and you dont feel as well with your current husband?

    nothing to sweat about.

id say just not to pay much attention when you have these dreams.

dont react to them, they'll stop coming :)

Do you mean that you meant the word "mean" in its original meaning or are you too mean to meet my mean standards? Oh, I'm going to start moaning about your mixing up all those m-words...

Dreams are just dreams. Ignore them.
