Target loss is nearly impossible, especially for guys trying to lose the belly fat. You shouldn't see a big difference only after a few weeks, but like you said you will feel it because being active and working out gives you an motivational boost. Playing basketball is a good way to increase your cardio and metabolism which will help you lose weight. However, to really start losing that belly fat you need to implement a strict diet and increase your workouts. And the only problems people with weight issues have are usually motivational, but all it takes to help them is something that is fun and energizing like basketball. Hope this helps.

Well for me ive been jogging 8 miles (everyday) and in 10 days have seen a loss of about 15 pounds, but for the first few days i didnt lose squat, it took me a little while. If you eat at night this could be the problem. Your body burns alot of its calories at night. Try not to eat 3-4 hours before going to sleep. You should see a difference just go the gym (atleast 3-4 days a week), drink lots of water, and eat healthy. Maybe try cutting out carbs.

    Hope this helped!

Isn't that frustrating when you can't see the results from all that dribbling?! You're right, it probably is making you more fluid and stronger, but it sounds like you just need an extra push. Going to the gym is only a problem if you don't have a professional showing you how to use the machines correctly and what exercises you should be doing for your height, weight, etc. My brother had the same problem as you and he was nervous to jump into the gym scene, so he started working with Mel O'Keefe, a personal trainer who has put his services online (for the same cost as a gym membership!) at http://www.virtualfitnesscoach.com./ He started seeing results and really loves it. The program offers meal planning options (might be helpful to pair your workouts with healthy meals!), guided workouts, with pictures and videos, support groups, live chats ... it sounds perfect for someone with tons of energy who's "sick of having a belly!" : )

    Good luck!

I lost 45 lbs eating right and doing a lot of cardio. I also used this line to help. Really works, I started selling them too. But I would walk a couple miles a day & do some cardio! Lift weights or do yoga too. What you put into your body really is the key to a healthy life. I think diets are lame. It's a lifestyle choice. :) Good luck to you! Check out the CINCH line on my site, contact me if you have any questions. These products are great! Not trying to advertise but it really changes peoples lives. Enjoy.

Swim laps in the pool for 1 hour a day, i promise you it worked wonders for me.

Swimming exercises every muscle in the body.

I am 16, and i was 264 pounds and i started going to the gym.

I would stay for 4 hours a day.

First hour i would swim non stop laps in the pool, for 30 minutes i went on the bikes, next 30 minutes i ran on the treadmill.

With the two hours i had left i went on the stairs that go up and down, then i played basketball....

    I am now 231 pounds...

See dont do weights until you lose weight...

    Work more on cardio...

DONT EAT AFTER YOU COME HOME FROM THE GYM!!!!

    ONLY FRUITS AND VEGGIES!!

I have a tall friend that is like that. She loves to excercise but falls short on the diet end. Exercise alone won't take weight off an easy keeper.

Sounds like your doing awesome with exercise, but maybe just cutting down your calorie intake by even just 100 calories could help you get a headstart in losing the belly. Also no matter how much you eat, if the majority is fruits and veggies, you will lose the belly fat in no time. :)
