what does it mean when a girl is shy?

My guess is that she likes You.....and therefore got nervous when she saw u. when i see a cute guy in the store, if i dont know him - i dont make eye contact for very long...i turn away quite quickly (and regret it later! lol) depending on how close of friends u are, or maybe ur just aquaintances? if she's got the hots for u - chances are she would turn away like that. Especially if she's with her family! She prob figured they would see her wave at u - and then they'd prob question her about u like: oh, who's that boy? is he in ur class? - they'd put her on the spot....and she prob wanted to avoid that......so, she looked away hoping u didnt see her! lol just my opinion....hope it helps!

Shyness is a precious ornament gifted to her by Nature itself. Shyness has hundreds of meaning. Best is she express her all of her feelings through it, But other should have the capability to understand it.

maybe she didnt see you , was you waving at a distance? was it dark ?

Just say to her when you next see her in a friendly way " i saw you the other day , i was waving at you , but you was in a world of your own !!"

she was either shy or maybe hoped that you didnt see her, chances are she might talk about it and ask her why did she do that
