Why do people on Y/A always start with Spiritually speaking?

Because that means the question is usually going to have nothing to do with spirituality. The folks in R&S use that to get away with asking weird questions.

This is one octopus that doesn't. I've noticed that spiritual and/or religion related questions seem to be extremely controversial. You can't breathe without offending someone. And I don't like stepping on anyone's toes.

the people in R&S use that to cover up weird questions that have nothing to do with religion and it makes it possible for the question to be categorized in R&S.

Spiritually speaking, it is similar to how P&S uses POLL and SURVEY at the beginning of the question
