How many unfinished works are sitting in your hard drive?

Six. I counted this morning as I went off to work instead of fininshed anything.

I have one that I'm getting more accomplished on right now. This is keeping my optimism, whether valid or misplaced, alive.

About 3 stories I can't go anywhere with, but for inspiration and in hope something will 'piece together' or 'click'. In all, I have about 11, including planning on stuff I didn't bother start yet. Im working on an adventure novel just now and so far so good apart from the fact that i am 13 so have school and other activities alot.

I have one work in progress that I try to touch at least once a day. I have seven others that are in various states of completion (really close to the mid points). I have thirteen that have huge chunks completed but that I don't think have any real merit so I've abandoned them almost completely but will probably re-write some of the sections to include in my other works in progress.

As for random stuff I've probably got over 50 scenes and characters sketches, a few really great sentences that I love as well as lists of vocabulary, names of females, males, last names, towns, world building exercises, research on demons, mythology, history (mostly of the ghostly variety) and technical employment jargon. I've got names for fantasy characters, and weapons and space ships, pages of research and links for star trek information as well as beasties and ghoulies, faes and the Tuatha Danann.

I think I spend an inordinate amount of time on research now but I'm hoping in the end it will pay off.

I have one I finished and am currently editing it for the millionth time and than I have three unfinished ones. I constantly jump from story to story when I get in that mood or inspired but im trying to stick to one at a time lol. : ) Than I have one story I finished a year ago but I lost the notebook but luckily I typed it so I have 4.

I have 4 on this computer, but only one of them really seems to be going anywhere. I also have a couple of older ones on my old computer that I don't feel like retrieving because they really weren't that worth it. Plus I have plenty of other random ideas floating around my head from time to time that haven't been written down yet.
