the repubes, but it seems they are taking steps in that direction themselves and need no help from any of us. In all reality, it is the emerging libertarian party that may very well displace the republiKans as the major party to challenge the dems. Ron paul seems to be the repubes' best spokesman and he is well supported by the libertarians. When rush limbaugh whines the right should not go on a listening tour, but instead go on a teaching tour, it exemplifies why the repubes are in so much chaos---they STILL insist on TELLING people what they (the right) KNOW is the "truth", instead of listening to fed up republicans express just WHY they are so fed up with the repube leadership.

I would like to see a 3rd party kill they republicans. Mostly because they are currently the weakest right now. They'll give in to the 3rd party. Spector went to the democrats, it will only take one to turn libertarian. Then we'll see what happens to the democrats when a third party rises. It will be hard for them to defend from a party that will fight to the end. Which the republicans won't do.

Neither one. We not only need two healthy political parties to continue to function as a country, we actually need more than two. I not only hope the Republicans get their act together; I also hope that some other parties get better organized and stronger. The more choices and voices, the better.

I would give the Republicans 6 months to stop crying and complaining about Obama, grow up and show some organization and leadership. Or they will be demoted to a third party and allow one of the third parties to come up to see what they can do.

But the voters are putting out that requirement for them.

Both, one party rule leads to tyranny. As a conservative, I would NOT like the democrat or republican party to simply "go". Learn your history and you'll see why.

Getting rid of a party would accomplish nothing. If you made it illegal to be a Republican, do you think people would stop having conservative beliefs? A new party with the same beliefs would just rise up.

Republicans. All they seem to know is hate, prejudice, division and war. I'm sick of it. Its time for us to grow up and we can't do that if the nasty mean children in the country keep running things.

You don't have to worry about the Rep party, it looks like they are doing it themselves.

But we need at least a two party system. I'm hoping for the Rep to wake up and do the right thing for the American people.

None, it's not a "Party".. it's the people in it.. and we can't control opinion.

    Nor should we.
