If I might add it is good going to church but don't forget that all the people that goes to church are not christian. None of us can really know the heart of a man.

I've heard it said that he professed both Christianity & Muslim as his faith.

Perhaps he is one of those people that just takes certain aspects of a faith to heart that are good for him & rejects other aspects.

I embrace what would be called Christian & Hebrew beliefs. I observe the 7th day Sabbath, but that does not make me Jewish, nor 7th Day Adventist. I observe Baptism & the laying on of hands for the Holy Spirit, but do not celebrate Easter nor Christmas. I am not Jehovah's Witness, Mormon nor any other Christian branch that I can think of.

I didn't know about the Nat'l day of Prayer b/c I don't read the news. Thanks to you informing me, I would like to join others in praying for the healing of our country.

Actions do speak louder than words. But I have no church to go to so I bible study with old friends when they are in the same city. I keep a personal relation with YHWH. I think our President's relationship with his God is his personal business. I would prefer he kept quiet rather than tell lies to please the masses. And this is not a subject he brings up unless asked about it during interviews.

I think the best you can do is pray for him that God make him wise in leading this country in the direction that is pleasing to the will of God. That way you don't have to worry about other things that you are not in control of. But you are in control of how much you pray for our new leader. It's sounding like he does need divine help right now.

As I understand it, the White House is planning a muted observance of Thursday's National Day of Prayer. That's not the same as completely ignoring it. So I think your facts are wrong.

He is President to all people no matter whether they believe in prayer or not. That is exactly how he should handle this. If you believed in prayer you wouldn't ask a question like this. He is a man who follows his Christian faith & going to church has nothing to do with it. God is where he is at all times, guiding & supporting him completely.

He is probably not a very devout Christian. He when to that Chicago church because of political connections you got if you went there. The president's religion is important to some but not to others.
