Nuclear war -- world war etc How likely is it?

Question

The Taliban have advanced into Pakistan --- they are less than 100 km away from the capitol and command of nuclear weapons 

 Fears of a war between India and Pakistan appear to have subsided at least from the media coverage 

 -- NATO war games in Georgia are seen as an intimidation ploy aimed at scaring the breakaway republics Russians have deployed extra troops and tanks to the break away territories  continuing to promise military protection 

 Venezuela has offered the Russians use of military bases for long and short range nuclear subs planes and missiles 

 China continues to refuse to take on more US debt meaning that the US in having to turn to the printing press more often --- Hyper inflation and or economic collapse loom large for the US along with the very real threats of losing their status as world reserve currency -- that loss will spell the end of the US economy

 So how likely is nuclear war now ?

Well if Mr Dinnerjacket in Iran and Mr Obama in the USA don't get their hands off their respective male organs, I would suggest we all start digging the lead lined bunkers right now!!

If Afghanistan and Pakistan don't start the war, then Iran and the US will.

For the US to use first strike, a McCain Palin ticket would need to occupy the administration. So if high ability and diplomatic efforts seem less than a winning executive branch combination in four years, the probability increases with the reduction in vision of the candidates.
Out in the world, I don't see aggression for turf outside of Afghanistan Pakistan, but there is a real threat nuclear will eventually be used by someone. If traditional military means fail and governments fail in the region, it is much more risky for them.

Yep, and the kicker will be when Obama pulls out of the middle east, leaving the sand-crabs alone to fight each other again. One of them will pull out a nuke (pakistan, India, Iran, the taliban, israel). Then all the oil will be cut off from the entire planet. Since the Libs and the Eviros wont let us drill our own, we will be totally cut off, our cars wont have any gas our country will completely shut down. The U.S will have to get involved one way or another. To bad the Dems in control cant see this, or they dont care, because they are bent on destroying America anyway.
