You should see a doctor right away. Noticeable changes in vision are an indication that something is wrong. Too often there are no symptoms or pain in the early stages of diabetic retinopathy or glaucoma. That is why it is so important for diabetics to get an annual dilated eye exam. Early diagnosis is key to successful treatment. While there is no way to prevent onset of diabetic eye diseases, you can reduce your risk of getting these diseases by following a healthy lifestyle as advised by your doctor. Have that eye exam, eat a good diet, get plenty of exercise, and control/manage your blood sugars.

If your blood sugar is over 140 two hours after meals, then you need to work on getting your blood sugar under better control as this can have a big effect on your vision. It can take 6 months to a year to settle down.
You also need to get your blood pressure treated, as this can cause retinopathy and kidney damage. Both high blood sugar and high blood pressure can damage your eyes and your kidneys.
Once you have both under control and the blurry vision settles down, then get your eyes checked.
HOWEVER: If this vision change was sudden, then you need to get checked out right away as there could be something serious going on such as bleeding inside your eyes, which may need immediate treatment.
I would not get new glasses right now, as your prescription will change if your blood sugar and blood pressure improve, but it might be best to see your doctor or optometrist if this change has occurred suddenly, just as a precaution. When you make an appointment with your optomistrist make sure you tell the receptionist what you want to see them about.

Go asap. You could be getting diabetic retinopathy and that blurred vision could be blind spots requiring laser therapy. The blind spots are permanent, so you don't want to let it go.
Also talk to your doctor about getting tighter control. If you are waking up with blood sugars above 120 and have sugars above 160 two hours after a meal, you are at risk for developing complications of diabetes, blindness being one of them.

If your sugars have been out of control for awhile and you have ketones in your system it can cause blurred vision. When I had DKA I couldn't see hardly at all, it was all blurred and fuzzy. After I went to the emergency room and was placed in the hospital and my sugars started getting in control and the ketones out of my system I was able to see fine again with no complications as of today(thank god). But you should go to the doctor and be checked out.

tired ,blurred vision and weak can be symptoms of diabetes. it can mean your sugars are high. I have been diabetic for 17 yrs now. but you should go to the DR. and get checked anyway just incase. the chest pains are not a symptom. so please get that check out.
