Here is a guy's perspective on it.

It was great. I wish more people today would live their lives like this and not treat their significant other like a auto lease. someone said it wasn't so much for guys but i disagree. it should teach guys that the little things matter just as much as the bigger ones and to stay more positive all the time.

on a side note I didn't like that the woman was seeing the doctor on the side. I wonder if he wasn't married and he paid for the hospital stuff if the outcome of the movie would have been the same.

If I had to choose best movie of the year it would be Fireproof,it is amazing.I saw it at church. You just have to see it.I have also see the 3 before Fireproof, they were also good but nothing like Fireproof, next I would recommend Fly Wheel and Facing the Giants. The new movie is out but I have not seen it yet,it is Come What May and I'm sure will be as good as the others.I think all of these are must see movies. It is a church that makes the movies and the people from that church are the actors.

Anything that has to do with marriage and relationships goes in this category. This movie has to do with that. I thought it was good but seemed a little too Hollywood like. You know, made up in a sort of a way as far as how real life is when it comes to fighting with a spouse, but the truth is, that the word of God stands before anything and that was the point they were trying to make along with keeping your marriage together. The word of God is very clear about marriage and divorce. The movie also taught about salvation through Jesus Christ. Something everyone should be taught.

Me and hubby actually watched it last friday with a bunch of couples at our church.

I thought the beginning was very cheesy, but became a fantastic movie! The dialogue just didn't seem authentic in the beginning, but after the first 15 minutes I thought it was wonderful. Full of thrilling moments, and I think the movie spoke to alot of couples. Everyone has had to deal with something that happened between that couple.

it was almost like that movie was made about my marriage. We had alot of the same problems, and husband really became a real man through our process of learning to trust eachother again and his hard work just like the guy in the movie.

We almost cried a few times, i highly recommend it.

I thought the acting was just about the worst I've ever seen. I think they picked these people, other than Kirk Cameron, off the street.

The story was good but put all the blame on the husband which I think is unfair. Any relationship has both positives and negatives from both partners. The general idea of putting your faith in God is the only redeeming movie quality.

I thought it was a good movie, but unrealistic. Most people are too selfish to try that hard to save their marriage. That would be hard even for the strongest love.

    One word--AMAZING!!!

I also did the LOVE DARE (book) on my Husband...Wow, it really makes your relationshipstronger and puts things into perspective. To sum it up....It's about faith, self sacrificing, appreciation and complete acceptance for your partner (& God--not in that order).

I thought it was a good movie. I think that it hits women harder than it hits men.
