Will my flight land safely in Houston?

I am flying from Portland to Houston tomorrow in a plane that was rerouted to Raleigh, NC that took off from Fort Lauderdaleand supposed to land in Newark, NJ. It is supposed to fly to Portland then to Houston in the morning.

    Hello,

The airlines are run by smart people. I'm sure they've dispatched another aircraft to accommodate your flight. You'll want to check your flight status via the airline's website to make sure. In most cases during re-routes airlines have backup aircraft able to take over another's flight line in the event that it gets messed up. It's just all part of airline operations.

    Happy flying!

How do you know which aircraft will be the one dispatched???

If there is a safety issue they will either fix it or substitute an another aircraft,
