Does anybody still store away that emergency ten or a fiver inside their wallet?

Question

You know when the chips are down and when you are yet to see that pay cheque clear inside your bank account, these little reddies of either a fiver or a tenner can go along way and bring sheer glee. Does anybody out there store away somewhere deep inside their wallet that emergency five or a tenner??

Yep I have one tucked away , in fact though I buy everything using cash and never use plastic.

These days if you have a fiver or a tenner spare, your rich!! I used to though, always kept cash upstairs in a hidey hole for emergencies!! Now all that's in there is dust and cob webs!!

No, not really - ever since ATM there seems to be no need to hoard cash.

But if I ever cleaned out my spare change jars, I think I'd have enough to pay my next month's mortgage!

i  have  the $20 bill  in  the glove  box  of  my car  for  gas. and i keep  my  bills  on  a  preauthorized  plan for  the  same  day  each  month.
