I've had PCOS for years, been on the BCP to regulate my periods and Metformin to help with the insulin resistance. I got married Sept 28 08 and stopped taking the BCP the beginning of OCT. I got pregnant mid NOV and the only thing I was on was the Metformin. So it only took a month and a half for me! I'm 27 weeks now with a very active baby girl! :) Metformin worked amazing for me. I'm 5 4 tall and way overweight. I was told I would never get pregnant, or I would have a really hard time getting pregnant. Ha, showed them! Good luck!

I started to take my first cycle of clomid this month, I was told to do this for 3 months and if I was still not pregnant they would double my dosage and then after 6 months if im still not preganant they are going to triple my dosage. I have PCOs (both ovaries). I dont know if my body is reacting to my dosage either, not had anyone tell me any symtoms who have been on clomid.

It takes some months for the Met to stability your hormones out. as quickly as you get to that element, i might attempt an greater dose of Clomid first. I had to circulate as much as 200 mg earlier I ovulated.
