Hi, I am 10 weeks pregnant and had been trying for a baby since 2002. I was diagnosed with PCOS and also have a underactive thyroid. I took metfomin and thyroxin prior to getting pregnant and I also undertook a Clomid trial and fell taking this in the second cycle. What was good to find out taking the clomid was that I actually ovulated after day 21 and between day 28. This info made all the difference when trying!! Keep on with the Clomid and find out each month if you have ovulated which does make all the difference. You have to think positive as you will eventually fall. Good Luck.

It takes a few months for the Met to balance your hormones out. Once you get to that point, I would try a higher dose of Clomid first. I had to go up to 200 mg before I ovulated.
