'Politics' Regulars... Do You Do Your "Patriotic Duty"...?

... and take time out from asking and answering questions to VOTE? (for best answer on some of the 'undecided' questions)

Since this is such a busy section, there are currently 39,298 undecided questions.

Update:

LOL "Lips"... I love your honesty! :)

Update 2:

I admit I've been guilty of letting some of mine go to vote, either because I got busy and lost track of time or because I hoped that maybe more people would look at my boring question :) But still vote on many more than I've let go to vote.

Update 3:

LOL Trout... just wipe that spoon off very well before stirring the soup!

Oh Leni... welcome to the "I have NO Life" club... I do the same thing, and for the same reasons! ;)

Update 4:

LOL... Bruno, relax, breathe deeply and smile :) (methinks you misread the question)

Update 5:

Bruno.... I'm also a fan of Dahl Jamail MidEast Dispatches!

In local elections yes, sometimes here on yahoo answers I'll vote. But I'm busy building a trike right now so it will be a while before I have any time to help resolve questions that the ask-er is to fcuking lazy to pick a best one.

    No --- I forget to

I don't chase the points that much --- I ask way too many question answer to few and almost never vote on anything ---

I thought my services for duty should suit my skills --- and so sh---t disturbing is what I do -- and yes I consider that within my skill level and patriotic

For Queen and country --- Go and find the cattle dung of our nation and stir it just a little ........... that is how I chose to define my patriotic duty

    LOL

I hardly open a question which is not asked/starred by my friends, don't have time to go for voting questions (don't get it wrong that I am a good time manager or something; I'm wasting time in some other ways lol). but, voting is not bad, is it?

Honestly I don't. Every time I'm on answers I see things I want to answer, star, read more than go vote but I do believe you're right.

We should probably all do it. I would say I will in the future but I'm doubtful I would keep that promise

Political duty? only to oppose extremism and irrationalism that has resulted in many atrocities throughout human History.

I combat propaganda with fact and have been denounced as a liberal for doing so, every since Ronald Reagan was elected.

and yes I do tend to vote best answers.

  • Sometimes. However I don't really see the point in letting a question go to vote. If I ask a question, I prefer to pick a best answer myself.

Patriotic Duty? The swill of American arrogance! Perhaps one should ask this of our, now subsidized bankers, car manufacturers and weapons creators.

I will not wrap myself in any country's flag. It perverts realism.

Being patriotic is almost too broad to define because it encompasses so many things, but I would say that mostly it means to me an appreciation for those who have gone before and a responsibility to those who follow to leave for them the best of a nation that was left for me. Patriotism requires pride and in these times in particular pride in country is something I no longer have because pride requires respect. I do not respect a nation (even my own) that has no back bone and has lost respect around the globe because of it. My State flag (Texas) now flies in front of my home and my allegiance is to that State and not to America. That Flag will comes down when I can feel proud to be an American again.

I vote every single time. Those who vote have no right to complain. You reap what you sow.

Yea, I do. When I'm really bored, I go and vote on unresolved questions. I know, pathetic. lol
