Hi, your luteal phase is the time between ovulation and your period. The cycle is split into two phase, split by ovulation. The first phase is called the follicular phase which is the time from your period up until ovulation and the follicular phase is the remainder of your cycle as i said above. Its the timing from ovulation to your period. This is the second half of your cycle. On average it should be 12-14 days. But mostly 14days. Your luteal phase is your two week wait. Anything after 16 and before 10 i think is not normal and may pose as a problem in becoming pregnant.

The Luteal phase is the time in between ovulation and your period, i think it ranges from 10-14 days. This is the time where your body produces progesterone, which is important for a healthy pregnancy..if not enuff progesterone is made or the Luteal phase is too short it may prevent the egg being implanted successfully.

it is from ovulation to a period so basically my luteal phase is 15 because i come on my period 15 days after ovulation
