Wal-Mart or Target...who's better?

OK..so I want to start some bulk shopping for household items, but I don't think that a wholesale memberships is really worth it. So who's better, Wal-Mart or Target? Consider prices and selection in your answers please.

I trust Target, Wal-Mart sells low quality stuff. I bought a coffee maker at Wall-Mart once and It burned out in 30 days. I got the same brand coffee maker at Target and It's still working years later. If I remember right it cost me an extra $5 but it was worth it.

Wal Mart is sickening and Target is lame. They have many commonalities. If you are going for cheap then you do Wal Mart, if you want the next step up in quality you go Target. If however you care about where your money goes you shop at a small town store.

Are you serious? Whenever you go to wal mart, they bag your items and on the bag cart, they spin it at full speed, and your items fall out. you then have to be inconvenienced. Didn't you hear on the news some mom got her kid a ds, and when he opened it, there was rocks and a chinese newspaper in there! I'd rather shop in a baron wasteland than shop in there! go Target!

You cannot beat Walmart for the lowest price. You might also consider going in with another friend (or sister, or mom) for Costco-type membership. If they live close by you can divide up the huge sizes and save some bucks. I love Costco.
