Can i make a pc wired to a wirless router show up in wireless network?

Well, I am not sure what the issue might be, but computers connected to the SAME router are on the same network. I am on a wireless laptop and can and do connect just fine to my desktop, which has the Ipod's files. The Ipod sees it just fine as well!

Some routers do have a button to ISOLATE the wireless, you might check to see if yours does?

I don't remember if I had to set a workgroup name on the setup or not, but as long as all machines get an IP from the same router, they will be on the same network!

File and printer sharing has to be ON (on the computer side) as well as the firewall has to be set to allow the connection. You might want to start by turning OFF the firewall entriely to see if that is blocking the system.

The Microsoft Network should work if all computers on the network have the same workgroup name. You should be able to see any computer that has at least some files shared. However, MS Network is very buggy. One day you see all the computers, the next not at all. A third party network program like Network Magic from www.purenetworks.com will make this more dependable.

The first thing is to take out the BT modem, as your router is also a modem. Then you will have to enter your login details into the router settings to be able to use your AOL account. There should be instructions to do this with your router, and you should have the settings for your account from AOL. If not ask for them. Your router will be accessed from your PC or laptop, via an IP address. All you have to do, is in the web address bar of your browser enter the Ip address of the router. Something like 192.168.2.0 and that will let you set up the router for your internet account. if you are not too sure on what to do then I would suggest to get either a friend who knows how to set up a router or speak to BT and they can assist, or send over an engineer to do it. But that will cost you money.

You do NOT need a wireless card. As long as it is connected to the same network it will work You need to set up sharing on the machine you need to access, and set the exception for file and printer sharing in its' firewall. You are then dependent on the services available on the Iphone, I do not have one so can not help with that.

Run the network connection wizard and make sure you use the same domain name

Colin is right. You need to right click my computer and click computer name. change the workgroup name to be the same as the other computers. That way you can share. Good luck.
