BJP is my choice. We need to get rid of terrorism and build INDIA a safer nation for us to be able to walk around freely.
Our people are so divided in many ways. Only BJP could bring together the diverse culture, diverse lingual people.
We have seen enough of Congress rule and screw-ups. We're still far behind many nations in terms of development. We have the best computer software companies and professionals but look at our government services. Nothing is computerised. Everything is so manual and screw-up. This makes it easier for our politicians to continue swindle money.

I personally like the goals of Conservatism. But Republicans have a horrid record as far as working toward those goals.
I agree with the idea of cutting spending; but the three biggest spenders in American history were (in order from most to 3rd most and already adjusted for inflation):
1) George W. Bush (R)
2) Richard Nixon (R)
3) Ronald Reagan (R)
I also want the government out of my life. But the biggest expansion of government in history occurred in 2002 with the Patriot Act, and was passed by a Republican Congress with huge support from Republican President George W. Bush. Now I agree that Obama did support this, but not until after better protections for us were added to the renewal bill.
I'm not happy with Obama about his support for it, but he at least took out some of the government's power to invade our private lives. Bush did not, and neither did the other Republicans.
And I want to stop abortion, but Republicans want to do it by overturning Roe v. Wade. Well, Roe v. Wade had very little to do with abortion legality, because it didn't answer the central question of abortion legality. That question being, "is the fetus a living human baby or simply a clump of cells?"
Now I believe it is a living human baby, but Roe v. Wade had nothing to do with that. What Roe v. Wade actually had to do with was, "who has control over a woman's body, the woman or the government?" The Supreme Court said that a woman maintains control over her own body, not the government. And by extension, since we are all equal, a man also maintains control over his own body and not the government.
And Republicans are trying to overturn that! Which would give the government the legal right to take over our bodies if deemed for our better good! Democrats are right on this.
Democrats are trying to stop abortion just like Republicans. The difference is they are trying to do it by leaving women in control of their own bodies, but when they are young teach them how to use that control responsibly. THAT is how we prevent abortion, but not give the government control over our bodies.
I believe in Conservatism. Republicans have lost it. Democrats have shown repeatedly they can out-Conserve the "Conservatives." So I usually side Democrat.

Technically, I'm a Liberal Democrat.
But I will vote Republican occasionally when I think candidates for my own party are real screwballs.

Communist from now on. I don't care if I'm "wasting my vote on an obscure candidate that can't win". I voted straight democratic for decades... How's that working out for me so far? I will NEVER waste another vote on Republican Light.
