Come here a moment. closer.?

Now i like to believe i'm a good father (And a Manchester United fan for over 30 years.) to my two beautiful daughters, they've always known their loved i've told them this everyday of their lives even if i've had to phone them to say so. their both very kind and caring people. and i know they were never dropped on there heads as baby's. so way are they both Arsenal fans. where did i go wrong. maybe you could explain this to me because i just don't understand at all. you think you've done everything you can for them in life and they go and repay you like this.

Update:

Dallas, no offense taken. but Lady's i did write this a little tongue in cheek. if you understand my meaning.

Hi you, well i can understand your pain, i am Italian and a Milan fan forever,I use to go to the stadio in Milan all around Italy and some places in Europe, my dad is a big Milan supporter (he still not eat is dinner if he watch Milan playing and it is not winning) and i know that the greater sorrow i could have cause him would have been to became a Inter or Juventus supporter. Back to your children, i like to give you some hope by telling you of some children i know who actually did change the team they supported for another one and, as they are children, they can be forgiven for having a change of heart(in your case, provided they don't became Chelsea supporters, that's it) because in Italy we say that you can change everything in life: your job, your political beliefs your wife/husband, but NOT your football team!! now i don't know how old your daughters are but if they are teenagers my best advice would be to find them boyfriends who supports Manchester, in the meantime focus and be happy with the fact that Manchester went in the Champion league final by beating....you know!!

Hi, I don't know if I ever answered a Q of yours, but yer in my contacts and I get Q alerts in e mail.

No real offense meant, but I could offer some opinions.

The fact that this seems to be just about sports, and team faves as choices hardly has anything to do with you and them being loving children and a parent. My Dad named me after his fave football team and I hate football but love my dad.

Sometimes too, maybe the rivalry could be a fun bonding thing, not a riot like at a soccer match. Isn't it all,,,anyway,,,the sports thing, about having some fun with it? So one time they win, next time maybe you win, but in the end Y'all are just observing. Yer not playing, or getting paid, or winning trophies.

Again with no offense I think yer thinkin this way too deep. Assume you went to a game/match, whatever ya call it and sat next to a fan of the team opposing yours. Would ya beat him up every time his team scored, or would ya just shout louder for yer own team?

I guess I don't get it, or the testosterone rush of it but I do get competition. AND that need not be more than, OK you I owe ya a Pint, or you ow me one.

    Hope I didn't offend ya.

    Dallas
