27 yr old woman with 42 year old man?

As long as they love each other then age shouldn't matter.

It depends totally upon the man. There is no one feeling that all 42 year old men will have about a 27 year old woman. Some will go after a younger woman because of as midlife crisis. Some men will be looking for a woman they think they can contreol. Others will feel nothing more than paternal feelings for a younger woman. Still others will just be looking for that young "eye candy." Finally, some will have real loving feelings toward her. It's a big age difference. Some couples can have a healthy relationship, some can't.

I am 27 years old and I'm currently seeing a 42 year old man. We've been talking for five months and finally went out. We've been dating for 3 months and so far so good. Since he's 42 I don't have to worry about mind games like I would with guys my own age, or him constantly hunting for ***. He's 42! He has a "been there done that" mentality which makes him perfect for me. He needs more than the physical.

I think a 42 year old man would feel very lucky to be with a 27 year old woman,

but i have to ask why would a 27 year old want a 42 year old,

Well, here's my take on it. I'm 52. If I was single and interested in a 37 year old woman, would that be ok? I consider myself fairly stable (not counting some Friday nights) ;-) and fairly level headed, so part of the question is what would she see in me? What kind of future would we have together? Stable? Consistent? Adventurous? How about our sex life in 5 or 10 years? In ten years I'll be facing retirement, would she still want to work in ten years? There's more to this than just simple feelings about her, but feelings are very important.

I don't think that age gap is much to be worried about. If he likes her (or more) then he should say so. I also think that she might be attracted to his level of maturity and stability compared to guys her own age.

That is impossible to answer, It depends on who the man is who the woman is and a little more detail about their relationship. Otherwise any answers to this question would be pure speculation.

15 yrs gets to be closer and closer as you grow old together. I'm been with my man for 18yr now and he is 15yrs older than me. Now it feels like we are the same age as he stays young for me.
