Christians? What is it that you hate about Atheists?

Please do not lump all Christians together. There is such a variety (not all being good representatives of the faith) from fundamentalist to the point of almost walking on water to very liberal. You will seldom see a liberal Christian have a hateful conversation with an atheist. They will probably just want to learn more about atheism just to have more knowledge. The fundamentalists (walk on water types - found in all faiths unfortunately) fight with everyone who does not espouse to their particular kind of faith, and their particular church, temple, etc. They often tell other Christians they are going to hell just because they are not fundamentalist. That's happened to me a lot, and I'm Christian, but very liberal. I wouldn't argue with you. Would just like to learn about your thoughts and have a good and interesting conversation. Sorry walk on water fundamentalists, but that's how it is most of the time. I'm sure I'll be told I'm going to hell in here! LOL So we are very different.

I don't hate them just the fact that because they don't believe in God they feel the need to offend and harrass people that do. I respect the fact they have no faith so why do they feel the need to be rude to me because i do? you say you are a Deist and your morals come from how you were raised, well my christian values come from how i was raised too does that entitle a Atheist to be offensive towards my beliefs and values i think not !!! they should think before they speak and respect other people's opinions and faiths, and not be offensive like some of the atheists i have encountered on Yahoo answers in particular in this section.

Hate is a strong word! Not agree on or dis-like would be more appropriate. Evolution and the big bang are theory's. Creation is recorded in the oldest book and record known to man. I believe the bible is missing huge amounts of lost information that belong to it. Some of the lost writings may have had information of how creation was done. If someone creates they can explain how they did it. It is possibale for evolution to exist in the creation teaching if it was the method the supreme being used to bring everything into existance.

Theists often ask atheists, "why be moral?"

I've always thought this was amusing, since, if you need to have a reason to BE moral, that would mean that you're not already a moral person, by default.

It's also a rather childish question, since BEING moral isn't the same thing as behaving oneself and following certain rules.

nicely, that's unfair. proportion clever, that's definitely with regard to the comparable. the comparable varieties of persons tend to hate alongside ideological lines. you will in no way stumble on a topic the place everybody hate all of yet another human beings. yet there is alot greater Christians, so their hate crammed proportion outnumbers everybody else, and frequently conditioned protective atheists are puzzled for the definitely hateful atheists.

Personally the thing that I "hate" about all people, whether they are Atheist, Christian, Agnostic, Muslim, Buddhist or whatever is the same.

1. Insistence of their views correctness without the proving of any evidence

2. The refusal to consider others views

3. Personal attacks on others character

wow i was gunna come on here and say we dint hate them we love them and want them to be able to go to heaven with us but then i read the answers you have and wow i didn't see any christians being christian.

I'm Christian and I don't hate Atheists. I just simply pray that they find the peace and joy I've found in Jesus.

True Christians don't hate.Love is supreme and they pray that all people experience the Love of the Lord
