Could the Rapture Happen on may around may 29th-31th?

Rapture is a past event, it happened to the 1st century believers (the ones Jesus and new testament writers were addressing.) When we read the Bible, we must remember it is not addressed specifically to us living 2000 years after it was penned. This is a major problem in Christianity today. They miss this key to interpretation: "audience relevance."

Luke 21:22 - "These be the days of vengeance, in which all things that are written will be fulfilled." (What are "these" days? The days the writer is living in.)

We can't take history and turn it into prophesy. We can't interpret the past by today's news. Read up on the Roman Jewish War, and the Great Tribulation under Nero, of which John (writer of Revelation) said he was a partner in. Also look at the adverbs describing when the rapture and end (of the old covenant world, not the planet) would occur!! (Soon, without delay, at hand, standing at the door, the last hour, etc.) - we are 2000 years past those imminent adverbs!

Hello my friend I agree that we should not set dates for the Rapture. I agree that God the Father knows and not the Son. It is true that we do not know the day or the hour of the Rapture, yet we are commanded to know the season of Jesus return for us at the Rapture, and be ready and watching. We do this by watching Israel. Israel is God's time peace. The prophet Daniel was given an exact day count by the angel. the exact day count for Israel began May 19th 2010 for the 2300 days. We know this because the angel said 62 shavuot's( years) are for Israel from the going forth of them becoming a nation. The going forth was Nov 1947. The angel also said after 62 shavuot's there will be 2300 days. Israel is now at 63 years/Shavuot's. We know as watchers, that the season is now, the day and hour is very soon. We also know that the angel said that if those days (tribulation) were not cut short , no Flesh would survive. Those days are being shortened NOW. We the believer must be taken out of the way, before the Lawless One can be revealed. Watch the Moon and the Heavenly sky's In Gen 1:14 Then God said " let there be lights in the expanse of the heavens to separate the day from the night, and let THEM BE FOR SIGNS AND FOR SEASONS and FOR DAYS and FOR YEARS. The first thing they were said to be for other than days and nights is SIGNS and then SEASONS. My friend ; the Rapture can occur literally at any second from here on out ! the Rapture can happen anytime and i truely hope its pre-trib cuz the Christians didn't do anything wrong, so why be punished? I think it'll happen Dec 21, 2012. lots of reasons

1. the mayan calender runs out.

2. one month before the new pres. or same pres is sworn into office (*hint*hint* about Obama)

3. that whole new world thing and good chance of US heading toward communism

4 in the past few centuries technology was going at a slight incline but in the past few decades it's practically going at a 90 degree angle in technology and if you haven't noticed every decade or so the hem life on pants, skirts, etc. has been getting shorter! sin is more accepted now and i think that Obama is the anti Christ

hey, i think before the rapture happens, israel has to rebuild it's temple. hasn't happened yet. that might be before trib but either way that needs to happen. just follow God and keep progressing in life because if u sit around and wait for it and it doesn't come in our life time, you'll waste your life.

The word rapture appears nowhere in the bible, no where. Believers in the rapture are forced to change their stance from pre-tribulation, to mid-tribulation, and soon to be post-tribulation as world events similar to what the Bible predicted unfold.

Another way to look at it is, it already happened. You didn't make the cut. Now deal with it. As described in Revelation, it only applies to 144,000 of God's elect, who were martyrs for the cause. It doesn't apply to us.

Although it appears that we are very near the end, we shouldn't be over zealous with set or setting dates, in that, "no man knows the day or the hour that the Son of Man comes" Matt.24.

Many have set dates in the past and wrong.

We live in scary times who knows what will happen, but fear mongering isn't going to help. Im not trying to be rude but why bring people down? Say something positive that's what we need these days.

Look, the reality is He says He will come like a thief in the night. Nobody knows when it will happen. We just need to be ready that it could happen at any second.

It could happen anytime. Only the Lord knows for sure. That is why you need to be ready to ascend to Heaven NOW instead of putting it off til later. My sources can help explain. Thanks for the question and have a wonderful day!
