I know quite a bit about psychology, but I like religion and philosophy too. I am widowed with children. I'm old, but not that old (over 40). That's all you need to know.
Is there any evidence that there is a significantly higher percentage of atheists on the internet then in the general population?
The demographics for atheists is very similar to the demographics of internet users, but is that evidence there are more atheists on the net?
4 AnswersReligion & Spirituality5 years agoAtheists, do you know how we know that religion is not delusional?
Because religious beliefs are not effected by antipsychotic medications. If religion or belief in a God were delusional there would be a direct impact by medications that treat delusions. There is none. On the contrary, people that are adherent to antipsychotic medication are significantly more likely to participate in religious activities, than those that are not adherent to their antipsychotic medications.

5 AnswersBiology5 years agoMerry Christmas! Happy Hanukkah! Alhamdulillah! Namaste!?
Do you agree that Christmas can be a time of uniting all religions in recognizing God, whereas the real threat is secular society's desire to have no such greetings?
Secular society says it is disrespectful to call this time Christmas or wish people Merry Christmas, for those who are not Christian. But is it not better for those of another faith to respond with a greeting from their religion, like Happy Hanukkah, Alhamdulillah, or Namaste? I believe the bigger threat is from those who wish religion to be removed from our culture. Do you agree?
(Please state your religious preference, if any, if you respond.)

Is it true that starting January 1, 2016, that only social workers who are counselors/therapists will be reimbursed by Tricare? So all those who are seeing therapists with degrees in counseling will have to switch to a new counselor with a social work degree who accepts Tricare (for mental health services)?

9 AnswersReligion & Spirituality6 years agoWhen Hillary Clinton becomes president, will Republican Christians say she is the Anti-Christ?

2 AnswersReligion & Spirituality6 years agoAtheists would you be disappointed or pleasantly surprised to find out that God did, in fact, exist?

The world wars and great famines that followed being the 4 horsemen, the vial of wrath being poured on the sun being global warming, the vial poured on the sea turning it to the blood of a dead man being oil spills, the 2 witnesses coming back to life being the collapse of the soviet union and churches in those countries becoming filled with believers, the earthquake that shakes the world causing cities to collapse being the economic collapse? What do you think? I already know what atheists think of it, so don't need that info.
