Diagnosed PCOS - Clomid after 8 months of birth control pills?

For 18 months after I had my daughter, I bled constantly, continuously heavy bleeding... I went to a dr as soon as we got on insurance and he suggested Clomid. At that time we weren't sure if we wanted to have another baby or not. So I said no, and he put me on Ocella (the generic form of Yasmin birth control pills). I've been on the pill for about 8 months now, and we have decided to have another baby, Will the dr put me on Clomid right away? Whats standard procedure after coming off birth control pills and ttc with a diagnosis of PCOS?

Normally the standard procedure is to have at least 3 normal periods before ttc. Although it has not been proven that if you conceive right after you stop taking bcp's that you will have problems with the birth of your baby. I was told that a woman is most fertile when she comes right off of bcp's. So, you just never know......GOOD LUCK!!
