What kind of computer should I buy? Mac or PC?
My husband and I have been saving up to buy a new computer because our current Compaq is about 9 years old and dying. We have saved up about $3,000 and will probably add another $1,000 to that when our tax refund gets here. We use the computer for emails, digital pictures, making flyers for my son's school, basic stuff like that. So what should we get or perhaps I should ask, what can we afford to get?

PC's have more compatibly programs and generally cost way less. Since you are already familiar with PC's you won't have a difficult time using a new one. Microsoft Office Publisher is a great program for making flyers and things like those and it's extremely simple.
