Anyone answer: Is this normal?
If a girl approaches a guy on a dating site just saying hi and being a bit flirty, is it usual for a guy to give out his phone number and offer himself up for sex within a week?
Or would a nice guy be a bit more subtle?
Just getting a general view, so anyone feel free to answer. Thanks. :)
Update: Is it REALLY normal for a man to say this online to a girl he's never met:
"if u want *** round im at [address removed for security reasons but was included] if here at 6 would u let me lick ur p***y out 4 u on Sunday if u dont want it ok"
Notice how 'if you don't want it' is kind of an afterthought... Hmm...
OK, thanks for the input, guys. This 'person' I was in touch with is in fact my ex (his so-called 'friend' told me he was on this site) so this 'sociological experiment' has proved exactly the kind of person he is, and because he treated me so horribly I decided to create a fake profile and string him along. I have arranged to 'meet up' with him on Sunday, but I'm not going to really. I will leave a nasty message on his dating site profile while he's wasting his time waiting for a girl that's not going to show, block him and delete my profile. This will give me the closure I need. By the way my current boyfriend had lots of input in this, too; he wants as much redemption as I do. If you think that's a mean thing to do, that's your opinion. I make no apology.
Anyway, I'm throwing this open to the public vote. Thank you for the input; all your comments are fair enough.
Good luck to the person who gets the ten points. :o)

Let him off gently but assertively and if you like him tell him that you want to continue talking to him and that you are not thinking of sex just yet. If he stops talking to you then this shows whether or not he's thinking of using you or genuinely likes you.
Many men are like this and when a woman flirts with them they follow their willie's commands, alot of them don't even know that they're doing anything wrong and you need to put them straight. He might be a perfectly nice guy and may have just been thinking he was in there with a chance, men often take to flirting like that. It's how they treat you when you say no that is the indicator.

A nice guy would wait until they knew the girl really well. Not offer himself on a plate after 1 week. That's just silly.

you are both online trying to find the same thing...
men use love to get sex
women use sex to get love
you are after the same thing, and doing it from different directions.. if you are interested, go for it.. if not, wait for someone else...
