    Hi!

The following places are interesting. They are all situated in the shopping areas where you and your wife can go around. Please check and see by yourself which is the one both of you like most :

    1) Ambassador Hotel (Soi 11-15, Sukhumvit Rd.)

    www.amtel.co.th

    or

    2) President Inn (Soi 11/1 Sukhumvit Rd.)

    www.cv100.com

Have a nice time and sweetest honeymoon in Thailand.

I don't know what you consider what price to be budget but you don't need to stay in Khao San Road just for budget hotels.

Many budget hotels in Bangkok have A/C and clean rooms. Most even have free daily breakfast included with the rates, though it's best to eat at a local restaurant just to give some business to local Thais.

Source(s): http://www.squidoo.com/budget-hotels-in-bangkok, check out the review for Samran Place $29 USD per night and next to BTS Sky Train and Siam Square/Paragon.

£one hundred is lots after which alternate relaxation whilst in Thailand. You need to inform your financial institution you're going to Thailand and an approx quantity you would spend there or else they would freeze your account and calls are steeply-priced no longer forgetting 6hr time diff from UK. ATM's are all over however you're going to get charged a hundred and fifty Baht for each and every withdrawal. - Max quantity you'll be able to get out at one time is 20,000 Baht. Only take out what you want for the day / night time and depart the relaxation in motel riskless or deposit field. Have a distinct time within the land of smiles. You must get among forty nine-50 Baht for a £ in Thailand

As the other write stated don't expect much from the hotel except for a place to sleep. The area is in the old part of the city near the Grand Palace and Wat Po. Khao San Road is the backpacker area. A long street with bars, guest houses, tour agents, internet cafes, small shops for gifts and restaurants. It is however, not accessible to other areas of the city except by taxi. No skytrain or subway in this area. Here is a website for Khao San Road http://www.khaosanroad.com/
