Help with finding Father?

Hi, I really want to trace my father. Does anyone know any free sites that are good to use. I have paid for sites previously and no one gets back to me.

I have not seen him for 20years and he could be dead, or might not want to know me.

Any help would be appreciated.

I'm from the uk.

    Have you tried searching on facebook? A lot of people have facebook these days or maybe you could try searching for someone who you might known him?

    If that doesn't work you could try www.192.com. Usually you cant access any information but you can see if he is on the electoral roll to see if hes alive.

    Try the phone book website. Type in his surname and a location (is possible) and see if hes listed. If hes not on there you could try contacting people with the same surname in the area (if known)

    Genes reunited have a free search tool, so you could try this!

    Also do a search for him on Google to see if you can access any information about him!
