Yes I have PCOS and I have a 3 year old son and am currently 26 weeks pregnant with my daughter. So yes it is very possible. I use to take Metformin 2000 mg a day and that alone started my periods back and I had my cycle every 40 -45 days. I was so excited b/c I had went year or longer with no cycles. My husband and I had been praying God would bless us with another baby and sure enough he did. My Dr. was going to start me on clomid and I did not feel comfortable about that. I wanted to pray and trust God to give me a child and he did. I know how sad and depressing pcos can be. It took me 2 1/2 years conceive my son and about 8 months with my daughter. Don't give up and keep praying! God is an awesome God! I wish you the best!

The docs seem to think I have PCOS and I got pregnant naturally. I bought a diet book and actually went on the diet, I made sure I did high-intensity exercise 4-5 times a week as this helps to regulate your hormones, I also took a herb called vitex as well which is also meant to regulate hormones. Myself and my partner made sure that we had sex every second or third night so that when I ovulated (which very rarely happened!) I would always have a living sperm inside me. I am currently 10 weeks pregnant and a scan at 8 weeks revealed all was well. I appreciate that I am not a success story yet and I won't be until my baby arrives safely in December and I worry about miscarriage all the time but I also know I am very lucky. I actually answered a question similar to yours last night so if you go into my questions in my profile you can read that answer (it was really long, I told this girl my whole PCOS story!) Just remember that most people with PCOS do get pregnant, it just takes a little while longer than most people. Good luck and please don't give up hope. I was in your shoes exactly and thought it would never happen to me but sometimes miracles do happen!

I was diagnosed yesterday and I have been crying on and off every since. I am 28 and they told me I have the greatest chance of getting pregnant before I'm 30 than after., which is 18 months away. So we still have not decided what to do. Because we were going to wait at least 3 more years, because Im in nursing school, but now this has kinda changed things. I have read alot of success stories and alot that werent, so im kinda torn on what to do....

  • Hon, I am so sorry to hear about this. I am sure very soon you will be able to conceive.

My husband didn't know if he could even have kids because he had cancer back in 2001 where they did kemo. We were pregnant within four months. It will happen to you as well when the time is right.

I didn't give up faith and you shouldn't either. Baby dust to you and I hope you conceive soon.

26w 1d pregnant with a precious baby girl!
