Whose definition of normal? okay my sister...?

who is four (yes i know HUGE age difference) was playing with her six year old friend. My sister hit her six year old friend and the six year old's parents called the police... is this a little weird, or is it just me?

Update:

she wasn't hurt bad. my sister hit because her friend like took a toy away or something like that. she didn't even get a red mark.

ummm...yeah that is really weird because when I worked at a day care those children hit each other all the time and I would never think that the police should get involved. Like the person above said, unless there was a serious bruise or cut that was bleeding profusely then I wouldn't call the police. If this did not occur then I have to question the sanity of the parents because then I would start to think something is up with them....

from what your saying yeah its weird there way to young to do anything worthy of calling the police

however you didnt say how hard your sister hit her if she left a mark (bruise cut red mark) for more then 48 hours it would be assualt i wouldnt, personaly, call the cops on a 4 yr old but if she did leave a mark they have that right

if she didnt leave a mark the cops rnt gonna do anything the parents are stupid for doing that theres a point where your too protective of you kid....
