When the vendor throws a bag of Cracker Jacks or Peanuts in the air is that a lawsuit waiting to happen?
I thought of that after an incident that happened during the Yankee-Twins game that i attended. A vendor threw a bag of Cracker Jacks at someone who asked for it but ended up hitting a woman in the face in the process. Needless to say the woman was pretty ticked off & screamed about threatening a lawsuit. .

It's an accident, but I would hope to get a free bag out of the deal. People who sue over stuff like that are the ones who have led to warnings like "This coffee is HOT"

As a squirrel you are most likely annoyed that a bag of nuts did not hit you, as you would of craved for the contents of the bag.
The vendor with the bad aim adds to the fun at the ballpark as most fans enjoy it when they are thrown the bag of peanuts or jacks. Lawsuit, I do not think so, Make her a seat sitter in those $2000+ seats that go largely unoccupied each game.
Have a nice day!

I think some ballparks banned that and all the others look down on that.
My dad told me about a guy at Progressive/Jacob's field that used to always throw the peanuts behind his back and other trick throws and he was really cool and stuff... never overthrew or anyting but one day the team made him stop because of an incident in another ballpark where some guy got hit in the face or something.
Anyway... yes. It probably already has been a lawsuit.

What kind of law suit are you talking about? When you attend the ball park and by a ticket to a game, you are signing terms of agreement. For example: what if someone fell down from the top row to the bottom row. The stadium/team only faces a few legal actions. Anyway, what kind of lawsuit can be created by a bag of peanuts. First of all ,it would never win because it can't be proved intentional, and it can not create a serious injury.

Lol, these days everyone sues for everything. How hard can a bag of Cracker Jacks be?

The idiot was probably embarrassed because she got hit in the face, and didn't have the common sense to react differently.
But, I wouldn't doubt that they've already been sued for things like that.
The sign outside the stadium says "enter at your own risk," but what they really mean is "enter at your own risk unless you have a good attorney."

Pathetic, way to get into the spirit of the game. Too many people looking to make an easy buck. Oh well, these people are everywhere. Some people just like to be jerks.

I suppose it's better than having the vendors throw sodas or beer bottles

LOL at least it wasn't a pretzel!
All kidding aside, I wouldn't put past anyone if they end up suing!
