Do I have to pay another initiation fee to another YMCA in another state if I already belong to one?

My husband and I have another home close to my daughters and we go there when we can..We joined a ymca there and go work out often and stay current with our dues all through the yr..Finally our home town is getting a YMCA together and I was wondering if we would have to pay another Iniation fee to join...I thought they might be connected and I know I probably will have to pay monthly dues to it but what about a joining one time only fee?

    If the two Y's are part of the same association than you will more than likely not have to pay again. However if they are independent Y's than you will have to pay separate dues and joining fee. Main reason being that if they are independent Y's they both need to be paid because they do not share finances for upkeep of their buildings, staffing....
