How long have you followed?

Rugby League, as a genuine supporter? Like you watch more than your own games and discuss the game with mates and stuff. I've always supported the Dragons but I've onlt started watching it 2 years ago.

I have followed the St. George Illawarra Dragons since 1999! And have been in to footy as long as i can remember.

I first started watching the footy show in 2002 I think, at 16 years of age, mostly for the comedy. I always supported my local team and had been to one game but wasn't what you would call a fan. My parents were never really into footy and I have no siblings. We watched origin and some Aus tests but that was it.

By 2003 I was a hardcore Dragons fan, I had the merchandise, I attended all the home games, I could spend hours talking footy and I still can.

    Love the game!

Started watching Rugby League when I was about 3 or 4 years old. I used to follow the Parramatta Eels back then because they wore the same strip as my local team, The Dapto canaries ( Blue stripe / V on Yellow / Gold ). Then in 1981 I started to follow the Illawarra Steelers and I now support the St George Illawarra Dragons.

I started liking League when I was 6 but only started becoming a real supporter for about 4 years.

For the first few years I followed League l only watched the Warriors games. It was only about 2003 that l started to watch other games as well.

about 14 years, since the Warriors joined in 1995. Love the game and it even converted me from my beloved Rugby Union. More pleasing to the eye watching League and I know do not need to go and get a uni degree to understand the sport (unlike Union).

I was brought up in a Rugby League family, all my brothers played, my mum was the local teams cafeteria lady lol and my step-dad was a coach of my local club. The footy was always on every weekend, and state of origin was like christmas, everyone in the family gathered around the tv going crazy. When I was like 3 up until about 6 I went for the Gold Coast Charges, but after they left the comp, I loved the look of the Knights team so I started supporting them and have never stopped and never will lol From about age 10 when I started knowing alot about RL and making more & more a part of my life, now it is my life, fancy that. Been a Knights fan for about 12 years now!

I grew up in NSW so I followed it very closely.

From a young age our whole family would either "make a day at the footy" to watch our own team play or have the radio on at home, listening to the game (either our own team, or whichever game was being broadcast). We would also camp around the telly on the big occasions such as the State of Origin series, the finals and Grand Final, any Test series, the World Cup etc.

I also used to religiously buy and swap the footy cards when I was in primary school.

However since getting older and moving interstate I don't follow it as closely, though my mum keeps me up to date on all the scores, the league ladder and all the goss.
