How long would Israel survive without American money and aid?

It is true that the aid and support of the USA have played a critical role in Israel's survival. The massive military airlift of arms by the USA to Israel during the Yom Kippur war of 1973 is a prime example.

Yet, just as the Biblical prophets foretold the re-establishment of the Modern State of Israel. So, they also speak of the day when Every nation will gather against Israel. At that time God will step in and bring a miraculous victory to Israel. (Ezekiel 36,37 Zechariah 12:1-9)

Since 1948 Israel has recognized it's smallness and has sought allies

the French, the Americans, the English, today they court the Germans. This makes sense when you look at numbers, the physical circumstances. But, I believe that Israel's existence today was originated by the hand of God and has been sustained by God's hand. Has the USA been an instrument of God to sustain Israel in a time of need? Yes.

But let us not dare think that Israel would be wiped out without American aid. No, God would use some other nation or circumstance. A look at the War of Independence, the Six Day War, and the Yom Kippur Wars will tell a tale of divine intervetions. I'm talking mine fields blown clear to expose the mines so soldiers could pass. Tank battles were the odds were impossible. Israeli soldiers surrounded and out of ammo and the approaching ememy suddenly souting Abu Ibrahim (Father Abraham) and fleeing. The stories go on....

I cringe in my heart to see the day the USA turns against Israel. But I believe it will happen as the prophets have said. Then Israel will have no one but the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob to turn to. In a way the USA has been like Egypt of old to Israel, a crutch of reliance that Israel has turned to, verses seeking God Himself to interviene. The day will come when the crutch (the USA and others) will be taken away and Isael will cry out to Adonai Tzevot (The Lord God Almighty).

And all Israel will be saved.

Even now God is the sustainer of Israel- but one day all Israel will know that truth -- beyond any doubt.

Thats military aid, Israel has a lot of high tech companies and a very highly educated workforce, they are among the top 5 in the world in regard to the level of maths, also they have nuclear weapons I think John D has said it all, Jews have given a lot to America and can take it back

Not long, especially if the US withdrew not only their financial aid and military technology but also their support in the UN of the Israeli governments actions. Many countries in the world despise what the Israeli government is doing to the Palestinians and even Israeli citizens are becoming disenfranchised with the actions of their government. The US media fails to report this though and only gives one side to the story.Israel's.

I don't see how they could last very long, they have many enemies in the Middle East and failed to create a self sustaining economy despite having decades to accomplish this. The only thing that might save their skin would be their arsenal of nuclear weapons which they could always sell off to the highest bidder if they were they that financially strapped. Then when attacked with those same weapons, the US would most likely reinstate their support of Israel and go running to their aid.

If God almighty sustains Israel why has he allowed the Jewish people to be so heavily persecuted throughout time and why are they dependent on the US for financial aid?

The jews are a much greater threat to Europe, USA and in other parts of the world.

It is strongly believed among many Germans and Europeans that the Jews were actually one of the main reasons why World War II happened. The Jews had control over the most powerful financial institutions (such as banks, real estates, and others) in Germany and Europe, and were exploiting it solely to their advantage to gain political controls and domination, exactly similar to their control and domination over the American financial institutions today in the US, where as a result of that the US foreign policy is always in the favor of Israel.

This is why Hitler decided to eliminate the Jews from Germany and the rest of the world. That is why the holocaust occurred, It is the Jews' mischief in Germany and Europe that caused for their mass murder.

A generation or two, at most. Israel is the physical manifestation of Jewish parasitism. It simply cannot survive without a host nation to latch unto and draw sustenance from the blood of the taxpayer.

It's not only US cash which keeps Israel going. It's also the fact that all past administrations have lent moral & political support on the grounds that if they did not they would alienate the US Jewish voters.

There would be mass suicide in israel if America withdrew funding because it would mean that they would have to put their hand in their own pocket and expect the rest of the worldwide 'family' to support them.
