I suppose there is a problem to find computer that does not made in china. They make everything nowadays.
You buy Dell being made in China, then you speak with their support that are in India. This is global world. ;)

Why wouldn't they be?
I assumed that almost all computer components and laptops are made either in China or Taiwan, and have been for years.
If you want to buy a wholly American made computer, get on eBay and buy an Apple II from the 1970s. If you want to buy a British made computer, get an Acorn from the early 80s. They are museum pieces, and sadly so is the manufacturing industry in the West.

Man, I got news for you, just about every PC in existence today will be mostly if not totally made in china then shipped into a separate country to be assembled.

Yes, many computer parts are made in China as labor there is much cheaper than American labor.
