Weakness on the right side?

I have had weakness in my right arm. It is primarily around the wrist area but radiates up the arm. I will also have occasional episodes where for 5-15 seconds I will lose function of my thumb and forefinger. My research has indicated that it could be carpel tunnel but I'm looking for other options. It should also be known that my neck is usually sore (primarily on the right side) and I have had some tingling (like falling asleep) sensations in my right leg when simply sitting. Everything seems to be on the right side. Does anyone have any other ideas of what it could be besides carpel tunnel?

It sounds like it could be carpel tunnel, and the tingling in your leg may be caused by your sciatic nerve (it's the nerve that runs through your rear and down your leg). I'm not anywhere near an expert, however, and I suggest you make an appointment with your doctor as soon as possible instead of asking just anyone on the internet or relying on your own research. They have the schooling for diagnosing things like this and waiting could end up making the problem worse.
