Poem I just wrote, is it worth continuing?
Please keep in mind I wrote this 5 minutes ago. I was zoned out and I decided to write something. Is it worth tweaking? Is it even understandable?
Dreamer's Solace
The plane has taken flight
I'm being asked to chase it.
They don't care if I can fly
As long as I can fake it.
Running around in circles
In my brain that seems vacant.
Its a place for me to stay,
And waste my days away.
The days meant to be preparing,
Preparing for it all,
Preparing for the "next step up",
Why can't you just let up?
I'm not preparing for anything.
My ideology clashes
With itself, until my ashes
Tip the urn over
From their incessant arguing.
My demeanors fiction,
Extraverted Introvert.
It's a contradiction.
Today's a prelude.
A prelude to the night.
It's a neverending story,
Until I catch up to that flight.
There's only one place I'm not running
On the inside and out
And that's in my mind
Where I have to live with the doubt

I think it is excellent. You have put a lot of esoteric thoughts down on paper here. Yes i can understand it and suggest you continue to write. Writing is a wonderful way to express your innermost thoughts and feelings. Even if no one else ever reads them they are worth expressing. I have always found writing to be therapeutic. What is really fun is to keep these writings in a notebook or portfolio and read them ten years from now. You will see how much you have grown and how much you have stayed the same. Good luck with your writing, I think you may be a true journalist.

This is a very interesting poem. You know whats interesting?
JUST an hour ago, my friend (classmate) was writing a poem that named 'Dreamer's solace"!
The title is so creative, and imaginative. it's 'magical'! :)
I love the use of your vocabulary, it is well said and placed in each lines.

Its good but I think it needs a little revising. It may turn into something. It makes sense if you have an understanding heart and brain but try to make it seem more reasonable. It's worth something.

i'm not likely to lather compliment on your poetic expertise, nor am I going to call it crap.. it particularly is not probable state-of-the-paintings or super, i does not end my day activity, yet i think of you have an theory approximately poetry and in case you're able to prepare and strengthen you're able to produce something you need to be pleased with extremely than calling it crap..

prose or poetry is supposedly for fun and entertainment. so you should have fun and go on. try bringing in some form in it. for example, organize it into lines and meters. It could be improve for a iambic pentameter or a canzone.
