Uncomfortable cramps all of the sudden at 5 weeks pregnant?

This is my second child. I got the occasional mild cramp with my daughter. This pregnancy I haven't really felt any cramps until tonight. All of the sudden, I am cramping like crazy.

There is no blood, and I am not doubled over in pain, but just distinctly uncomfortable all of the sudden.... for the past couple of hours. I took a warm bath hoping that would help, but now my back hurts as well.

Is this just normal uterine stretching... or something else?

Some cramping is normal during pregnancy but not major cramping. If you are concerned go to the Emergency Room. Since you are not very far along it could be a sign of m/c, but since you are not bleeding everything may acually be normal. If the pain presists call your OB forst thing in the morning,

It sounds like just uterine stretching, but if it continues, I would call the doc.
