  • What is causing the tingling sensation in my toes?

About two weeks ago I started getting this tingling feeling in my right foot-especially my toes. It started off occurring sporadically, but now tingles all the time 24/7.

Today I started getting this pain on the back of my right thigh about two inches above the back of my knee. It really hurts and won't go away.

I don't have insurance and am not sure what if any medical attention I should seek. Is this something that could go away? Are these issues related?

Back info: I am 22 female with two kids but really no other major medical issues that I know of.

  • 36 weeks- how much swelling is ok in your hands?

So I am 36 weeks and have been having some elevated bp. I was resting in bed and my feet and hands got swollen. Not crazy bad, but enough to be uncomfortable and tight. My blood pressure was only 145/87 which is high, but not terrible. Since then the swelling in my hands went down and my feet have come and gone. I can't tell if I am swelling in my face, so I don't think I am. I have a headache and have for two days, but I think it is because I am sick. Do you all think I should be concerned? Or does it sound normal and fine?

  • 16 month old with a 101 fever sneeze and cough and runny nose: cold or flu or allergies?

Last night my daughter was flushed and warm and suddenly had a very very runny nose and a little cough. She slept poorly all night. Today she has had a temp of 101 and has been very sedate and out of it. She is obviously not feeling well. I don't know how to tell if this is just a cold or the flu. So far I have just been suctioning her nose, giving her lots of fluids and waiting to see if her fever bottoms out (it has been slowly rising all day).

What do yall think? Cold or flu or impossible to tell without getting seen by a doctor?

Any other advice of how to keep her comfortable? I am planning some benedryl for tonight and tylenol for tomorrow if her fever gets any higher.

  • How bad am I dehydrated and should the doctor do something?

I went into the doctor's office because at 15 weeks pregnant I have been having some light contraction light cramping and dark urine and burning while I peed. I thought maybe I had a UTI. Turns out I don't but my ketones was at 40. The doctor said she was concerned about my dehydration.

I am concerned because I have already been hospitalized once for dehydration this pregnancy and I don't want to be again. Is 40 for ketones bad? She was going to keep talking, but I asked her a different question and we got sidetracked. I am working on fluids, but I didn't know if I should watch out for signs of worsening dehydration and what that would be. What do yall think?

  • Lots of medium strength cramping at 15 weeks?

Ok, this is my second pregnancy. I KNOW that some cramping is normal and I DON'T think I am miscarrying.

BUT... these don't feel like my normal stretching cramping. They are more intense and last longer. It occurs when I am laying down on one side, but it is so painful I have to sit up, gasp and hold it until it goes away. But it does go away eventually. But the last couple of days my cramps have been more frequent.

Could I have an infection or is this really just still completely normal (never hurt this bad this early with my daughter who is 1)?

Oh, and I finally got an appointment because my back has also been hurting really badly, but that isn't until tomorrow, I just wanted to get some opinions.

  • Pregnant- are my symptoms worth going to my doctor?

Last time I was at the doctor my blood pressure was 140/85. Not super high. But higher than my normal 118/70. I have been having crazy bad frequent headaches and just feel terrible- more that I do normally.

I am about 8-9 weeks pregnant and my next appointment isn't until July.

I just don't want to go in and be told I am pregnant get over it, you know? Do yall think the bad frequent headaches and generally terrible feeling are enough to go to the doctor for?

Oh, and do yall have any idea why my blood pressure would be elevated this early in pregnancy? I will ask the doctor, just curious about yalls experience.

  • Does anybody have a remedy for pregnancy misery?

Ok so I am 7 weeks pregnant and miserable! Very happy to be pregnant, but I feel like crap. I feel a lot worse than I ever felt with my daughter.

I am nauseous all day long, but never throw up. I am exhausted an can barely keep my eyes open. My back aches and I am ONLY 7 weeks!!! I am always cramping, but never spot blood.

Just as miserable as somebody over the moon about pregnancy can be. Am I alone? Is there anything I can do for my nausea other than crakers and ginger ale and eating often and preggy pops? What do yall think?

  • Weirdest food craving ever?

What is yall's weirdest food craving ever?

With my first child, I never had a craving at all. Yesterday I could not do anything until I had made 10 scrambled eggs and put them on a tortilla with barbecue sauce.

I still maintain that it was a normal combination (even if it never occured to me before). But hubby says it was my first craving, and this is my second baby (6 weeks preggo).

What was your weirdest craving ever, or do you believe that cravings are a crock (don't exist)?

  • 21 married, but how do I tell the parents that I am pregnant, again?

Ok, so I have been married for 2 1/2 years now. My daughter just turned one. I had her during college and am about to graduate. We played her off as the whole "accident" even though we wanted to get pregnant.

Now she just turned one, I am about to graduate and I just found out I am pregnant again, and again this child is wanted. But, we are not financially ready to take on a child, and I am not sure when and if I will get hired while pregnant.

I really want to hold off telling my parents I am pregnant until I get a good job and we are more set in our future so they won't think we are complete idiots, but I don't graduate until August. I know by then I will be showing and they will get angry if I wait that long to tell them. And I may not even be able to get a good job while pregnant.

Any ideas on telling the parents, how, when in the pregnancy? Any other thoughts?

And just so you know, I am graduating college in under 3 years Magnum *** laude, so I am not really stupid, and we will eventually be financially ok.... it will just take some time. I just don't want to hear a lecture from my over protective parents. I am afraid they will just be disappointed because they know how much harder things will be with two kids under two.

  • Breathing issue in early pregnancy?

This is my second pregnancy. I admit, I am overweight (180 lbs at 5'4") but I am still in decent shape.

I am 5 or 6 weeks and I have been having trouble breathing. Not that I can't breathe at all, but it is just harder to take a deep breath. This happens when I am sitting in a chair doing nothing, standing, or lying down. It happens 5-15 times a day.

I feel my heart rate speed up, but not to anything crazy. It would just jump from 80 to 100 bmp when I am at rest. I have talked to my doctor but she said that if I think it is life threatening (which I don't think it is) to go to the ER. She said if my heart rate jumps to over 120 (which it does'nt to call her.

But I still feel like this is not normal and didn't happen with my daughter. I am 22 by the way.

Any ideas what this could be or if it sounds normal???

  • Uncomfortable cramps all of the sudden at 5 weeks pregnant?

This is my second child. I got the occasional mild cramp with my daughter. This pregnancy I haven't really felt any cramps until tonight. All of the sudden, I am cramping like crazy.

There is no blood, and I am not doubled over in pain, but just distinctly uncomfortable all of the sudden.... for the past couple of hours. I took a warm bath hoping that would help, but now my back hurts as well.

Is this just normal uterine stretching... or something else?

  • A 4 week pregnancy scan and nothing?

Ok, first of all, I am really confused why my doctor did a 4 week scan. she said it was because I was breastfeeding and I could be further along, but I told her when I ovulated, so whatever.

She did a 4 week scan and we saw nothing. I am supposed to go back in at 7 weeks. What should I expect? With my first child the earliest scan was at 9 weeks and we got a really good picture of my peanut. At 7 weeks, what did yall see, or should I have seen a sac at 4 months?

  • bright blue veins on boobs because of new pregnancy, or breastfeeding?

My daughter is 11 months old and I am still breastfeeding her. Hubby and I tried to conceive this month. My period is not due until the 13-15th. I will take a pregnancy test on the 15th if I haven't seen my period, but I want yalls experiences or knowledge.

The blue veins have become more pronounced the last coupe of days. More pronounced than they have been in a long time. Is this just because I am breastfeeding, or is it because I am pregnant again, or is it just because my period is coming?

I know the only real way to know is to test, but while I am waiting until I can, what is yalls guess?

  • To call the cops or let it be?

It is almost midnight and I hear a guy and girl screaming. The girl is screaming about how the guy didn't care that he beat her up. I go outside because the screaming was so loud it woke up my baby and lasted for longer than 10 min.

I find the right apartment the floor above us, but diagnol from my apartment. I knock on the door twice (them still screaming until I knocked) two knocks later a girl answers the door with a busted lip and an ice pack on her cheek.

I asked if she was ok, she said they were done fighting. I offered a place for her to stay and asked again if she was ok. She said she was fine.

Should I call and report domestic violence? Or just let them deal with their own stuff provided it isn't a every night occurrence?

I know this is in the wrong group, but I wanted women's perspectives.

  • Taking a pregnancy test?

My last period began March 15 and I have a pretty normal cycle (28 days usually). I am pretty sure I ovulated a couple of days ago. When is the absolute earliest I can test?

I know it will be most accurate after I miss my period May 13. And I know 5 days before that is the 8th, but I was wondering if anybody ever got a positive much before that with an early results test.

    Sorry, just impatient.

  • Consol taking a looong time?

This is for recruiters, or other people who have been through it...

My husband needs to get a psych consol and has been waiting for a day to go down there for the past week. We were told he should hear back really soon, but now the recruiter is saying it could take a week or two.

How long does it normally take, what could be holding it up?

  • Possible twins? What do yall think?

I have a daughter who is 11 months. Hubby and I have been trying to conceive our second child. I have been thinking about twins non-stop and dreaming about them. It is too early to tell whether or not I am even pregnant (although I am pretty sure I am).

How much does intition play into things, or do yall think I am just thinking wishfully?

When I was pregnant with my daughter, I knew it was a single, and I was pretty sure it was a girl...

  • Am I ovulating early, or what?

Hubby and I have been not not trying to get pregnant.

The first day of my last menstrual period was March 15 and my cycle runs from 28-30 days long usually. We have been having sex every few days since my period ended.

Today my tummy has been cramping off and on like I was ovulating or about to get my period, but it seems early for both.

    What gives? Any ideas?

Ps- I know it is not just me eating something bad...

  • EOD? Any information you can give me would be great!!?

My husband is reenlisting. They gave him the option of infantry or EOD. He is leaning toward EOD. We have done lots of research, but any extra information you can give us about:

    life while not deployed

where EOD units are stationed (at a handful of places, or all over)

    rate of deployment

rate of gaining rank (is it pretty quick to move up through the ranks like infantry, or slower due to smaller size)

since AIT is so long (almost 40 weeks altogether) Will I be able to PCS with him for the last 28weeks in FL?

Any other information you have would be great, thanks!
