Pregnant- are my symptoms worth going to my doctor?
Last time I was at the doctor my blood pressure was 140/85. Not super high. But higher than my normal 118/70. I have been having crazy bad frequent headaches and just feel terrible- more that I do normally.
I am about 8-9 weeks pregnant and my next appointment isn't until July.
I just don't want to go in and be told I am pregnant get over it, you know? Do yall think the bad frequent headaches and generally terrible feeling are enough to go to the doctor for?
Oh, and do yall have any idea why my blood pressure would be elevated this early in pregnancy? I will ask the doctor, just curious about yalls experience.

Yes, I think its worth going to the doctor (and I don't recommend it an awful lot on here. There are so many chicken littles on this site!!)
High Blood pressure during pregnancy is something to really be careful of, combined with headaches/and or swelling/feeling terrible is a little worrying.
I'm not sure why it would be elevated, hopefully someone else can answer that.

You need to go and see your Doctor as soon as possible, better to be safe than sorry, pregnancy does give you high blood pressure so you need to get that checked again, headaches and feeling terrible should not be too much of being pregnant, you really should be feeling great with a lovely glowing look. Make An APPOINTMENT. Good Luck

i think you should just relax and take it easy, if you end up with a fever or anything then go ahead and call... weeks 8-11 were the worst so far of my pregnancy.... and you're high blood pressure is extra fluids, no real concern unless its abnormally high... my average was about 99/60 pre pregnancy and im about the same you are now and everything is fine... everyones different.

I would go to get it checked!!! High blood pressure is a sign of pre-eclampsia!!
