11 months post C-Section, bleeding after exercise :P?

I've had 4 C-Sections, the last one 11 months ago along with a tubal ligation. I have been breastfeeding the baby and he's down to a morning and night feeding only. My menstrual cycle return 9 months post partum, and has been every 21 days, instead of 28. I started exercising about that time and everytime I do a heavy workout (lots of abs, running 3 + miles) I bleed. The discharge is red, so I know it's from the uterus...not a tear or anything. Does this mean it's too soon to be working out so strenuously? I love the results I'm getting, so I really don't want to slow down on the workouts, but with all the kids, I definantly cannot afford to hurt myself. There is no pain with bleeding. Anyone else had this happen? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

It sounds like you're an experienced mom (4 kids!) and if you sense this bleeding is not normal it's most likely not normal. Be wise, if your body is telling you to slow down, you should listen. Don't be afraid to talk to your Doc., even if you "know" what she/he is going to say. Just because you like the results extra workouts are showing doesn't mean vanity should trump common sense. Yes, as women we feel anxious to get our figure back (I have 3 kids), but let's remember our family needs us healthy, not magazine skinny. Momma love speaking here, not meanness.

you're able to desire to pass to a doctor. It feels like inner bleeding or you rip something every time you exercising. Its superb to work out a doctor and seek for their advice at what you need to do.
