What is wrong with my Jenn-Air referigerator door? It squeaks like a door in a haunted house.?

Remove the hinge by removing the 3 screws. Remove the hinge, then slightly open the door and lift from the lower hinge. The lower and upper hinge have a metal rod that slides into a plastic sleeve. Use Vaseline to lubricate both hinges, then replace the door.

Here is the fix....the door closer mechanism is worn. You must remove the door; remove the screws under the rubber gasket that holds the preformed interior door about half-way around the entire door. Then lift up on the top of the interior door panel to gain access to two screws that hold the closer mechanism. Once the mechanism is removed there are two round plastic rollers. Both rollers are "out of round" which causes the squeak. Take a pair of pliers and rotate the rollers a quarter-turn. Re-install and your good to go!!!!

I have not any mattress room door (in case you observed the lay out of my house, it would make experience). the only door that squeaks is the laundry closet. It sounds like it is whining at me.

have u checked the condition of the washers?? they may have broken down or cracked so metal on metal squeaks. good luck
