do they really have a right to be here?
the next time an imigrant goes on about it being "his right" to be here put this to them.
who gave them this "right" to come here-the government he will say.
well the government works for us-the tax-payer.
we are their paymasters and as they saw fit to allow mass immigration into the UK without consulting us-their paymasters then no immigrant has a "right" to be here.
they went over our heads-and that is not what they are payed for.
your thoughts please.
well as we are the governments wage-payers issues like the gurkhas should be left to our discretion-and of course the gurkhas have earned the right to be among us-i am referring to the freeloaders and troublemakers.
you might consider yourself an immigrant carmela-thats your affair-but i can trace my family's history back hundreds of years-i am english and proud.
no lukman-you have the empty head because the government has removed your brain and replaced with a washed one-for something as serious as this we should have been consulted-anyway its very public-spirited of you to speak up for the immigrants-but try not to moan when the next increased council tax bill drops through the letter box will you!.
jim-i have had 1 year of unemployment in 22 years mate-and that was through redundancy-stop trying to be clever by making out you know me-because you don't.
love canada-curry is actually an english dish in origin.
mike uk-right on the button as usual-when are these people who call us "racists" etc going to realise that it is costing the UK tax-payer hundreds of millions to keep these immigrants-all of which we have to pay for through increased council tax etc-you just cannot tell some people can you?.
lucy: as i have known and still associate with west indians/sikh's and hindu's for most of my 44 years on this planet by no stretch of the imagination could i be termed as "racist"-and i for one am sick and tired of being labelled as such when all i am doing is voicing my concerns on a potentially disastrous situation facing our country today-you and jim above make ecxellent bedfellows-he also thinks he knows people he has never met!.

Politicians fiddled the immigration projections in the same way as they fiddled expenses
We real British are not "all immigrants" in the same way as the recent Tsunami of immigrants from poor and proven (see link below) corrupt countries:
In past centuries other people moving to the now UK were sophisticated , high tech for their time and small in number. In 1066 the now UK had only 3,000,000 people we have 3,000,000 Muslims alone here today who once did not have the success level to force assimilation into our country by claiming "persecution danger back home" . It has been shown over and over again that 99% of "asylum seekers" are economic migrants.
Most real British are against "multiculturalism" because of the proximity of these masses of people from poor and often corrupt countries settling here in limited space and without consensus agreement from the indigenous population. This is not racist any more than not allowing my garden to be filled with dossers is "anti dosser", it is my garden.

It's like saying the bloke down my street has the right to live in my house, eat my food and have a share of my wages because I visited his house once.
It's just a left wing, baseless argument to try and justify immigration.
Love Canada - The majority of taxpayers didn't vote. In actual fact just over 50% of voters actually bothered to vote at the last election - and less than 50% of those voted New Labour. They only got into power due to the constituency boundaries, weighted in their favour - a damn good reason for proportional representation which would have resulted in a hung parliament forcing either another election or Labour having to work with the Conservatives.

This country is not big enough for all these people and if we don't close the door it will end up as crowded as China!
The wrong people are running this country. We Brits should go to war with the Government and protect our country from invasion.
Did our grandfathers fight in vain?!
Vote BNP

Immigration to a small point of skilled workers may be needed although i can't rule that out, asylum seekers hot topic i would say no, not wanted Mass immigration and economic job thieves are needed like a hole in the head. Your government screwed you over big time. Good eulogy for the British labour party, the party that killed Britain.

The Labour government have no intentions whatsoever in stopping this invasion. One thing, they need the votes to stay in power so they have an easy ever increasing voting populous that vote for Labour. Then if and when they do get kicked out, most of them will become emigrants themselves when most will bugger off to America with all the taxpayers money that they conned us out of, and leave us all in a total mess.
'Some' immigrants are good for the country however. The NHS needs nurses and we have great shortages of skilled people. But to let ANYONE in literally willy nilly is pure madness.

As an American I have seen first hand the problem that your country is going through with illegals. When I was over there last year it was crazy.Does your govt provide them with all the welfare their little hearts desire too? Here in the USA its a fact, the illegals come here and get better help from our govt then even our elderly.Whats up with that?I know I came to England to get the english experience and at every turn I was being bombarded with illegal trying to sell me their cheap trash. When will our govt get the picture its not these low liefs that pay their salaries its us the tax payers.

There have been some very good answers on here, and equally some really silly ones eg "we are all immigrants blah blah blah".
I fully back you up 100%. What you say about the Gurkhas is true- I'd rather have people like that in this country who have earned their right than freeloaders and troublemakers.
Very sadly, as you have already pointed out, it seems as though the majority of us didnt call for this amount of uncontrolled immigration, it was the stupid government. And what Mike Uk has said is right; I personally am sick of being called racist for standing up what I believe in.
I too can track my family back for hundreds of years like you pointed out to Carmela. My great-great-great-great-great-great Grandfather was a blacksmith in the 16th century (obtained a family tree). Was born in London, as were all my ancestors as far back as I can trace.
But in answer to your question, no, alot dont have a "right" to be here; is it MY right to just go and take all my family over to Eastern Europe, for example, and send their money back to Britain?
What I am trying to point out is as well, I think if the boot was on the other foot of the immigrants, and we were doing what they have done, they would be the first to complain!!!!
Dont mind immigration, but Britain is now a complete joke.
EDIT: Lmao! Tony, looks as though you and me have been referred to as "racists". Omg! Never mind, just called realism, sooner the silly people referring us to that get their heads out the clouds and back down to Earth, the better I say.

Hey you...jolly good on you!!!!!!!!!
I'll tell you something...and it's not got much to do with the law and politics either.
I grew up in a right-wing family. My father founded both the Racial Preservation Society AND the National Front in the 60's and seventies. He's sadly dead now, his name "Jimmy Doyle".(look him up)..but he was a pioneer and intelligent, a do'er. I am still very proud and appreciative of his knowledge, of his virtues and style, foresight and understanding.
Before I get pushed off Yahoo answers, let me say this...Freedom of Speech and all that?! If I do get pushed off here, then that is an answer too!
So.... it is okay that all the so called "ethnic" groups, supposedly minorities...(Laugh out loud, sorry) that are trying to steal our country and make it multi-cultural/racial and politically "correct" environment are to be curtailed to? Do us all a favour and go and sponge off other countries. They will not, I'm sure be so benaevolent. You make most of us mortally embarrassed by your "Give me...Give me" attitude. Get a life...better still, go home to your own lands, where they wont pay you to sit around and do nothing, (other than claim the dole and complain) and lead your faulty lives elsewhere, preferably not here...as we are not allowed our "Freedom of Speech" anymore. What on earth is happening to the UK?
I am a model, (yes, don't laugh, I earn a damn good living) additionally, with 3 'degrees'; in physchology and Hypnotherapy and a Doctorate in Science, so if any of you Right-Wing parties fancy having someone with both looks and a brain, give me a call.... I'd be happy to support a BRITISH Britain.
We do have to start protecting our small but desirable Island! Don't you think?
I do not care a hoot if I am considered a racist. Good on me. Would they let all of us arrive in their country (why would we want to in fairness) and set up business, no questions asked AND receive all sorts of benefits ...partly because the so called "ethnic" minorities tend to breed like rabbits.

At the end of the day we have to suffer what the government of the day impose upon us. It is fairly obvious to most indigenous Brits that this Labour government is hell bent on international socialism (Communism by another name). Gordon is still giving millions in foreign aid in spite of the critical financial situation in Britain. It's the same with immigration. The lefties in power are perfectly happy to invite all and sundry to sponge on our benefits system. Blunket has said immigrants will do the jobs we don't want to do. What a prat!
Controlled immigration is fine by me. If we need skills that aren't already available in our existing population, no problem. At present we are importing criminals of all colours into our country. I would deport any immigrant that committed a crime instantly.
Incidentally, I fully support the Gurkha's victory. These guys deserve residence as they have put their lives on the line for us.

Anyone that comes here adopts our way of life and contributes to our society is more than welcome no matter what colour they are. Any that want to stay here that don't fit the above criteria in my eyes are not welcome.
Jim Bean, I was a Father at 17 I am still married to my children's Mother 27 years later. Never claimed unemployment and only ever had 2 months on the sick, ruptured achilles tendon, does this make me less of a person than you?

The government dont care about immigration, but what they dont realize is sooner or later theres going to be more foreigners then british people and one of the foreigners will eventually run for prime minister and because theres more foreigners there more people whos going to vote him in and this will be a foreign contry.
When that happens, britain will be totally different and will be dictated, we will have to do what they say and follow their religion is.
