On what side do I cut a thermofoil kitchen door as to not leave an splintered edge ?

I have the proper saw blade and plan to (blue) tape down the cutting edge

If you want to leave a clean cut both sides you need to cut along the line both sides and edges with a Stanley knife about 2mm deep then with a chisel on the waste side make a grove (about 3mm or 1/8' on the waste side with your chisel at 30 degrees cut towards the line removing that material) then cut the door about 1mm or 1/32' on the waste side, then skillfully plan back to the edge you scored, when you get close you can finish with a block and sandpaper (because you wouldn't want to damage that edge after all the trouble you have gone through to acheive it).
