i work at red lobster which is the same company as olive garden..it honestly depends on your states minimum wage standard.. i get paid 3.65 per hour plus tips.

my paychecks every week come out to very little anywhere from 0-50 dollars. so its pretty much all based on tips. olive garden doesnt have very high priced meals so im not really quite sure how much they make in tips compared to me. they also have endless soup and salad at lunch so its not very expensive but they get so much business from that that im sure they amount of business makes up for the cheap meals. on average if you are working full time i would expect to make anywhere from 400-600 per week.

  • Wait people should be paid minimum wage (depending on the state you are in) + tips. If you give outstanding service, your tips should be very good. If you don't do a good job, your tips will be few and far between.

I think the waitress wages here in Indiana anyway, are $2.30 per hour plus tips.

I had horrible service there once. The waitresses didn't care about coming around because they already got their 18% tip. It was so obvious. I complained to the manager, but I haven't been back since.
