What would the starting salary be for a coroner in Pennsylvania?

I keep getting round-a-bouts of $40,000-200,000, in general, not even by state. Please, someone give me a better answer...

Thanks!

Is a coroner a medical doctor in Pennsylvania? If so, then I'd say it needs to be at least $115,000, unless it's a teaching program or something at which point it would vary.

A starting salary of $200,000 for a coroner, if also a medical doctor, seems very high to me. I can see a starting salary for a physician out of residency being that high, but not for a pathologist working in government.

It would totally depend on where they were working. A coroner in the coal regions wouldn't make anything close to a coroner working a big city such as Philly. $200,000 sound extremely high no matter what area they are working.
