bra straps..whats wrong with them?

when girls show bra straps, its like they wanna be all ghetto lookin by the way the boys at my school make such a big deal over it, they see it, they say "eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeewwwwwwwwwwww, mrs. (teachers name) make (girls name) fix her shirt, shes bothering me!

I dont think there is a problem if a bra strap shows accidently eg. it falls down. But I think its wrong to show a bra strap deliberatly as if its not underwear.

Do you see a problem showing your knickers? I expect you do, so what makes a bra different?

I think the real issue is some people like to wear tops as you describe and dont want to wear a strapless bra or no bra at all so they just think forget it and wear a bra anyway. It isnt about pretending a bra isnt there it is about keeping underwear as underwear.

Now if I see exposed bra straps I dont make a big deal out of it I have come to accept that it is quite common place now for women to wear them like that but I do feel it is disrespectful.

The way I see it if its really hot and you want to wear something very revealing on the shoulder then if you can go braless or if you too big in the chest area for that wear a strapless bra.

If it was a professional, then most likely she took the measurement correctly. The reason why a 34C bra fits better is probably down to the fittings of that particular brand. Some brands have bigger sizes than others, so a brand which does bigger fittings' 34C may be closer to a 34D of a smaller fitting brand. Either that, or you've lost a little weight since the fitting a month ago (boobs are just a fat store place, you loose weight from them just like you do other places). Just to clarify, a 34D bra fits someone whose chest (under bust) measures 33 or 34 inches, and whose around bust measures 4 inches more than this (37 or 38 inches).

Whenever I wear tank tops, my bra straps show and I honestly think it's okay. However, it does look kind of tacky. Clothes look better when the bra straps aren't showing. How would you like to see someone's underwear? I know I wouldn't.

Honestly, I'm not sure at all. In my opinion, it's probably just an old day taboo type thing that stuck. I really don't see much of a problem with it, and now that I think about it, I've seen plenty of girls at school and stuff with them showing and I didn't even notice or think twice about it till now haha. Just depends on who you are though I suppose :P

I think the reason people find them offensive sometimes is becasue they can come off saying like "I'm trashy" or something like that. I kind of agree with you. If they are showing them on purpose, then I don't like it. But if you don't mean to or it's with a spaghetti tank, I don't really care! :)

I don't really think it's a big deal, but my mom is kind of strict when it comes to what I wear... she finds it bad for any undergarments to be showing because she thinks it draws too much attention to them.

i dont give a **** if my bra strap is hanging out on a casual day, it hardly looks trashy pull your head out your ****!

It just looks trashy.

If you're just going to the beach or something, it's fine..

But NOT to a garden party, cocktail party, homecoming, prom, exc

Idk i find them to look tacky whenever i see some girl's bra straps showing.

i can understand with shirts such as a tank top.

but with formal clothing, it just looks trashy.
