What kind of quotes are you getting for catered dinners these days? Per person?

    We are paying $19 per person for a buffet with chicken and beef. Our reception venue caters, and their prices for plated meals run between $17 to $30 per person depending on the meal.

    In NJ it's $150 per person, but that includes the room, waitstaff, linens, centerpieces, wedding cake, 5 hour open bar, ice sculpture, dance floor, cocktail hour food (buffet, stations, and butler passed) salad, pasta, main course.

    $35 to $40 for buffet, not including cocktail hour setup and appetizers. $50 to $150 for sit down, not including bar.
