If someone says something is good, I'll usually try it. But yeah, that disgusting thing. I don't know what's up with that. Maybe we're just such curious creatures that we even need to know just how bad something is.

It's like if they say it's good you're willing to believe them but if they say it's disgusting you think they're just tasting something differently than you would. It is weird.

Not really...i'm the opposite. I'd rather try the good drink than try the gross drink.

Yeah, I do that too...really odd because my curiosity outweighs my aversion to someone else's nasty spit germs! lol Yeah...I couldn't even eat after my daughter when she was in her baby drool stage because it gagged me...but for some reason my curiosity overrides the gross out factor.

It's like me when I pull all my hockey pads out to dry after a game and I try to get other people to smell them.

you know, i've never thought of that before, but now that you bring it up, i think you're right. why do we need to taste what is bad, but not want to taste what is good...?? weird, huh, how the mind works.
